The 2020 Mornington Peninsula Bluesfest marked the second successful year for founder and host, Patrick Elliget.  A collection of Australia's finest blues musicians wooed audiences with world-class originals and covers.

Recently UK alternative rock, folk punk Band, The Levellers toured Australia with celtibillie, punk, roots, rock band support act, Round Mountain Girls.

A Homage to Joe Cocker

Leave Your Hat On celebrates the spirit and sound of Joe Cocker and honours his legend.

The show features all those killer songs such as ‘Feelin Alright’, ‘Hitchcock Railway’, ‘The Letter’, ‘Delta Lady’, ‘You Are So Beautiful’, ‘Unchain My Heart’ and of course the title of the show ‘You Can Leave Your Hat On’ to name a few.

After seeing the show rapt audiences have described the “Leave Your Hat On” band as being “full of energy and passion”.

The band formed end of 2014 and has played to packed houses ever since.

WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE presented by Terri Lee Fatouros


The Andy Layfield Sound presents Andy Layfield's original music and is best described as 'Blues and Groove with Vibe'.   Weaving together a montage of different eclectic grooves, the music moves from acoustic to electric, with no two songs sounding the same. 


Recently The Andy Layfield Sound merged with Geoff Achison to create a night of spine tingling music orgasms.  Kick back with a wine and enjoy watching some of the highlights of WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE.  

The fabulous Blues Cruise aboard The Lady Cutler Showboat in Melbourne Australia

Starring Tony J King, The Jackson Four and Andy Phillips & The Cadillac Walk.

The Blues Cruise is held regularly aboard The Lady Cutler Showboat which departs from Pier 14 in Docklands, Melbourne, Australia. 

Heidi LaFaerie is the events coordinator and she showcases numerous bands throughout the year.

Lady Cutler has two levels and during the night the bands alternate between the upper and lower stages, supplying continuouse music and dancing all night.  There are two well stocked upper and lower level bars along with an intimate lounge for rest and chat time.  


Rockstar Bar

The Frankston Music Festival in Melbourne, Australia, (held on the last weekend of April 2017) featured various artists performing in selected venues around Frankston.   One such venue was the Rockstar Bar who had big names like The Weeping Willows and Lachlan Bryan & The Wildes playing.  

Check out this 9 minute highlight of the bands, a brief chat with Lachlan about "The Travelling Companions Tour' he did in May and a 90 second chat to John Spicer about what he hopes the Rockstar Bar will bring to wise.

On Sunday 2nd April, the Dandenong World Fare was held at the Dandenong Markets.  Check out this five minute whirl wind look at what went down.

The Basin Music Festival is held in March each year in the small fringe suburb/village of The Basin at the foot of Mount Dandenong, on the eastern outskirts of MelbourneAustralia.

Growing out of the music found in the community, the non-profit, volunteer-run festival presents an eclectic collection of musical styles, including but not limited to rock, jazz, blues, folk, country and world music. The musical styles are decided by the interests and talents found throughout the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne and the Dandenong Ranges.

Delights all with his tales from '101 Nights'

Robert Brokenmouth is a film maker, music journalist, performer and historian.  HIs fondness for the written word equals his love for the spoken word.  Recently Robert visited Melbourne to perform a 'spoken word part' from the new edition of Ray Ollis book:  101 Nights.  His dramatic rendition was accompanied by a piece of music called 'The Devil's Bridge', that was composed by MaBimiliano Gallo. Henry Hugo (touring Australia from Zurich) and Aussie boy, Michael Plater performed the piece.  

Robert performed at Tago Mago in Thornbury and The Lyrebird Lounge in Ripponlea.

MARIA CASSAR a talented singer/songwriter known as Bluemuse, recently hosted an 

Australian Musicians Radio live streaming event  (AMR.FM)  in her home studio based on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia.  The event which is held regularly features various Melbourne musicians along with visiting interstate and international musicians and is live streamed to many  countries around the world.  This particular event not only featured guest musician, Andy Layfield, but highlighted some of Maria's awesome original tunes along with a few other talented musicians as well.   

So kick back with a wine, turn up the volume and enjoy the show.
